Privacy notice
Effective 13 October 2026. Kivzi is a parent-managed early learning service. Parent/guardian account creation happens after payment, not before.
Information we handle
We collect a parent's checkout email and a securely hashed account password. Parent Zone opens without a separate PIN; existing accounts may also have an Indian parent mobile number. Child profiles contain a nickname, age, avatar, language and learning settings. We do not ask children for their own email addresses, home addresses or photos. We record lessons, progress, quizzes, screen-use time and account settings so parents can manage learning.
Payment and account recovery
Razorpay processes the ₹199 one-time charge and may collect payer contact information. Kivzi keeps order IDs, payment IDs, transaction status, paid amount, refunded amount, payer email when available, and an account-link record. We do not store full card numbers or UPI credentials. After verifying payment, we email a time-limited, single-use setup link to the email given before payment; this email is not shared with unrelated buyers. Customers can finish password setup immediately in the original browser without an OTP. If the browser session and email link are both unavailable, purchase recovery may use a code sent to the checkout email. We also retain necessary historical subscription details for reconciliation, dispute handling and stopping old mandates.
The new email-first checkout does not require a mobile number or WhatsApp consent. Older parent accounts may have a voluntary WhatsApp marketing opt-in, and we do not verify those numbers by SMS. Parents can opt out in Parent Settings, by replying STOP where relevant, or by contacting support. We record consent and opt-outs. We do not request a child's phone number for marketing.
Google, email, videos and microphone
Existing users may sign in with Google if enabled. A new Google account cannot bypass the payment-first signup. Transactional emails may be delivered via Resend, and video lessons via Cloudflare Stream. Device and browser speech recognition are optional, may be processed by their respective providers and are not used for AI Talk: AI Talk is discontinued. Kivzi does not offer a stranger chat or public social feed inside kids' learning screens.
Parent advertising measurement
Our public sales, checkout and parent account pages may use Meta Pixel and Conversions API, subject to your website privacy choices and the site's configured consent setting. Data may include URLs, browser/IP information, cookie identifiers, a hashed parent email identifier and purchase amount. Hashing is not anonymisation. These tools are not included in Kids Mode. We do not send child names, child progress or payment credentials to Meta. You can manage this choice from the Privacy Notice; already delivered events cannot be withdrawn from Meta.
Access, retention and deletion
Parents may view or change learning settings and request deletion. Deleting an account removes parent and child account data from the live application, subject to transaction records that must be retained for legitimate compliance, payment refunds, disputes and fraud prevention, and backups on their retention schedules.
